There are many reasons for living in this great community, but I truly believe the people of Salida make it a place worth calling home.

Working for a real estate company with a good reputation was of primary importance to me. I chose Wes Hill & Associates - Real Estate Professionals because of the integrity this office has had over the last 25 years in an ever changing market. Since moving here in 1988, I have seen many new companies come and go. I am glad I picked a company with long lasting local respect. I moved here from Tyler, Texas where I had a business forms franchise that dealt primarily with legal and medical practices. In 1995, Wes asked me to help him open a satellite office in Aspen, Colorado. I obtained my real estate license and went to work setting up the office and hiring personnel. After a year of commuting, I decided Salida was where I really wanted to be working.

I am very involved in community service. I am a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Mt. Shavano and past president of the Chaffee County Board of Realtors. I am currently a board member of Salida/Chaffee County Airport and hold a private pilot instrument rating. I have also been elected as ranch boss for 2008 with an elite group of business men and women called the Vaqueros. We are the welcoming arm of the Chamber of Commerce here in Salida as well as an advisory board to our chamber.

I enjoy all this beautiful valley has to offer in outdoor activities but especially love tennis and golf. A drummer since the age of 12, I play in several projects here as well as traveling to Denver and Colorado Springs for an occasional showcase. I have been an active body builder since 1984 although I no longer compete. In summary, I have experienced many great challenges that I believe help me relate to all different types of clients. I especially enjoy working with commercial and investment type properties and have the expertise to assist both buyers and sellers with these types of properties.
