I have traveled both around the world, and throughout this county, and haven't found many places like Salida, Colorado left on the mainland - not many places where old ways and new ways of living co-mingle to offer both prosperity and a sense of authenticity to everyday life.

Born and raised on the shores of Lake Erie I came to Salida, Colorado by way of San Francisco. I came in search of a more sustainable way of life. I wanted less competition for space, real community, access to real wilderness, and proximity to water. I also found a thriving arts community, an active bicycle culture, more whitewater than you can shake a stick at, a myriad of hot springs, a local ski resort, green businesses, an overall progressive community, not to mention some of the most awe-inspiring and diverse geography in the United States or beyond.

It didn't take long before my husband and I bought 36 acres with a small house and 360 degree gob-smacking mountain views where we now live, and thrive, with our two dogs Poncha and Roscoe. We enjoy exploring area wilderness by foot, snowshoe, ski, bicycle or boat, and keep our travel docket full with small trips to take in the spoils of nearby New Mexico, as well as bigger trips that satisfy our passion for SCUBA diving and ocean exploration.

Having spent several years in San Francisco working in the non-profit arts sector to bring community-based interactive artworks to fruition as temporary exhibits in public spaces nationwide, I found I liked working with diverse groups of people to problem solve and bring projects to completion. When I got to Salida, this translated to real estate. I like the unique set of circumstances presented by every property, buyer, and seller. I like meeting people from all across the world and working together to realize dreams. I enjoy learning from the people I work with, and value working with a firm that has been successful throughout the valley for many years.

Because this place is special to me I work everyday to help bring integrity and accountability to my professional life as a REALTOR. I am an out-of-the-box thinker with a git 'er done attitude and will work hard for you whether you want to buy, sell or invest in Salida and the surrounding areas.  I am fluent in french.
